Bolivia is the poorest nation is South America with one of the most corrupt governments in the Western hemisphere. Although Bolivia does claim to have a social health system, the corruption limits the services provided to those in need. Join me as I explore the health system of Bolivia and work to provide locals with the information they need to keep themselves healthy and their lives happy.

Camping in the Andes


Camping in the Andes is nothing like camping in the Rockies. Yes, the mountains are higher but there is no snow and it was not impossibly cold even though it is the equivalent of May here. Nonetheless, it was fun! Bolivian camping consists of Ramen noodles, Coca-Cola and spicy ketchup. It is a far cry from the backpacking that most of us were used to. The photos below are from the camping trip. Our friends from the Adventist University were our wonderful hosts!
